Eduroam Access
In order to access Eduroam and the Internet you must have a login and password.
Every student of the University of Opole can use Eduroam under the condition that they will observe the regulations of the UO Computer Network (SKUO). To access the Eduroam you must use your University email address: index_no@student.uni.opole.pl (domain student.uni.opole.pl is necessary) and accept the Regulations.
Attention!
Other domains like: math.uni.opole.pl, onet.pl, gmail.com cannot be used to access Eduroam.
In order to start using Eduroam you should log into your account management panel by using http://login.uni.opoole.pl and activate Eduroam in your email account.
Having an active email account in student.uni.opole.pl and activated Eduroam service every student who possesses a WIFI modem in IEEE 802.11 b/g system and supporting encryption protocols like WPA can access the Internet via Eduroam not only on the UO campus but also in other campuses in Poland and around the world. The WIFI configuration in your laptop should be conducted according to instructions given in the Configuration section of the menu.
Attention!
The use of the email address in the student.uni.opole.pl domain to access the eduroam service means that you have accepted the regulations of SKUO.
If you forget your email account password you can retrieve it by using the FORGOTTEN PASSWORD option at http://login.uni.opole.pl or, if you still cannot retrieve it, you can contact the administrator of the email server, Sławomir Paszkiewicz (room 202, IT Centre, 2 Czaplak Street) or IT Centre Office -room 204. You should bring your ID card with you.
