Step I – Registration in the Online Admission System (IRK)
In order to enrol on a degree programme at the University of Opole you need to register in the Online Admission System (IRK) on www.rekrutacja.uni.opole.pl.
The detailed instructions are given below or you can watch a video:
1. After choosing Registration (Rejestracja) you have to agree to have your personal data stored and processed by the University of Opole. If you do not agree to it you will not be able to enrol for a study programme at the University of Opole.
2. Now you will have your account created with the use of your PESEL number as a login (if you are an international student and you do not have a PESEL number you will be given one by the system, only for the needs of the registration system). You should enter your password – make sure you remember it because it is the only form of authorisation for your account. After you enter your personal details and click ADD your account will be created.
Attention! Creating an account is not the end of the registering process.
3. Now, in the login screen you should enter your PESEL number and password.
4. Now you need to complete your personal details. (all the required fields must be filled in!)
5. Next you need to check what subjects are taken into account in the admission procedure. You can check the subjects in the description of a given degree programme in IRK, or just click a given programme on the list.
6. In this step you need to enter your exam results – without it you will not be able to choose a study programme. You need to enter only the grades from subjects that are enumerated in the admission criteria for your chosen study programme.
7. After you enter the grades there comes My exam results table. This table just shows the subject the candidates entered into the system. It is not a list of entrance exams, because the admission criteria are based on the grades from your school final exams.
Attention! Candidates who do not know theirfinal exam results and still register and pay a registration fee do it on their own responsibility. Registering and not entering one’s final exam grades results in not qualifying a candidate for admission.
Attention! If in the enrolment criteria there is a possibility of giving an end-of-the-year grade instead of exam grade from the subject that was not taken as an examination one, enter the grade from your school leaving certificate without converting it into points. Only Admission Committees can do it.
8. In this step you must choose study programmes and/or specialities you are interested in, starting with the most wanted programme to the least wanted.
Attention! You can choose more than one speciality on a given programme.
9. Here the candidate must choose subjects that are to be taken into account in the admission process, or if it is the case, in the qualification interview.
10. The registration fee should be paid (you have to do it by the end of admission period the University of Opole charges registration fee of 85 PLN (or 21 euros or 22 US dollars) per registration for each programme. If you register for more than one study programme you need to pay additional fees. You can you check the status in the payments link.
If you choose more than one study programme you can set a priority of the chosen programmes by clicking My studies. Here you can also assign your payments to the chosen programmes.
Attention! Be advised to make a payment a couple of days before the deadline because it can take some time for the payment to be registered on the University account.
After you have finished choosing your study programmes the system will tally up your registration fee and generate your individual bank account (the last 11 digits of the number are taken from your PESEL number). You must not share this account with anyone. All payments of your registration fees should be made to this account.
System IRK umożliwia pobranie pliku wypełnionego prawidłowo przelewu bankowego (plik w formacie PDF zawierający sumę wszystkich należności) i wydrukowanie go na lokalnej drukarce.
Recruitment fees are non-refundable with the exception of the following cases:
- The programme has not been opened due to the lack of the sufficient number of candidates;
- Candidate has erroneously paid higher amount of money;
- Invalid registration – no registration for a given programme, or payment after due date;
