RELIGION IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the evolving problem of religion „returning” to the area of International Relations after decades of the domination of secularization theory. It is to present and discuss both negative and positive aspects of the presence of religious factors, such as religious extremism on the one hand and religious peace building on the other hand. Students are expected to participate in the discussion during the classes, prepare one presentation and pass the final test at the end of the term.
