Professor Mahmood Sharepour from University of Mazandaran

“Polish odyssey in Iran: Mutual understanding and cooperation”

It is our pleasure to invite the university community and the general public to an open lecture by professor Mahmood Sharepour, visiting scholar from the University of Mazandaran in Iran.

Professor is an active member of the International Sociological Association and the internationally recognized Iranian sociologist working on the issues of urban and public sociology. This time, he prepared a special lecture on Polish traces in the northern Iran and Polish influence and interaction with local communities in the first half of the XX century. The lecture, entitled “Polish odyssey in Iran: Mutual understanding and cooperation”, will take place at the University of Opole Museum on Wednesday, June 6, at 1.00 pm.

The lecture will be translated into Polish if there is such a necessity.

Professor Sharepour is coming to Opole within the Erasmus + Programme.
