Dear students,

Recently we have received a message from the organizers of Kulturalia event, which is held annually at our University.

“From 28th November till 2nd December our University is organizing another KULTURALIA EVENT, which will be held in form of workshops. What does it mean? Those workshops cover activities in many areas: arts, food/cuisine, sports, etc. We are driven by our main goal: to get all of you together, so that you can find out and learn something new and interesting, though difficult and challenging at times.

You will be able to witness (or participate in) many concerts and have an opportunity to meet  eye-catching people from both Poland and abroad.

You can see our last year’s fun here: https://www.facebook.com/Kulturalia-Uniwersytetu-Opolskiego-1651318648441460/

or here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4coy9kTIXos : we were dancing, applying make-up and tattoo, learning sign language and singing gospel.

This year we plan to get acquainted with the Turkish culture: traditional cuisine, music and language. In this regard, we need volunteers willing to help us. Considering that we have so many students from Turkey, we hope that you will declare to take part in this event. We promise you – it will be fun!

All workshops are free, so do not hesitate to come and take a look.

WHEN:  From 28th November  till 2nd December

WHERE: Studenckie Centrum Kultury ul. Katowicka 95 (most of workshops will take place  there but some activities will be held in other places).

If you are interested in preparing such an event, but come from a different country,  or you would like to show people a talent or hobby of yours – you can join us! Share your ideas!”
