Student Activity Centre

Student Activity Centre (SCK) was opened on 15th Oct. 2011. Its mission is to supply students with adequate facilities for presenting, promoting and developing UO students’ cultural activity. SCK combines cultural activity with artistic education. The building of the Student Activity Centre was co-financed by the European Fund of Regional Development and thanks to the European financing all events organised by SCK are free of charge.

Halls in the Student Activity Centre

The Centre has two rehearsal halls: a theatre hall with curtains and lime lights, and a dance hall with mirrors. There is also a big auditorium hall with 314 seats and a stage, collapsible audience seating, dressing rooms and a rehearsal room. In the cellar there are three studios where musical bands can rehearse. The Centre is also a seat of the Students’ Union and the Signals Radio, which has its professional, recording and broadcasting studio there. Corridors are used for exhibition purposes.
