VISUAL SOCIOLOGY

Visual sociology is about centrality of ‘the visual’ to the cultural construction of social life. Students will learn how to analyse and interpret images from a sociological perspective and practice fundamental skills of visual literacy. They will also learn how to put critical questions about the visual world around them.
