ECONOMY IN ENGLISH

The aim of the course is to present students the basic issues of economy and to help them understand processes occurring in the economy in the microand macro-scale. This course can also help students to apply the economical knowledge in their own lives while taking economical choices. Specific issues of the course are: Market, demand, supply. Consumer’s theory. The role of public sector in the economy. Money in the economy, its role, functions and evolution. The banking system, inflation. National income and its determinants. Business cycle.
