BIOCHEMISTRY

Presentation of multi-level organization of living organisms and their functioning at the molecular level. Making the students realize that chemical reactions occurring in living organisms are the same as in the test-tube and undergo the same principles and laws – the only difference is the degree of complexity and precise regulation. Solving problems during workshops should allow the students thorough understanding of the studied topics. During laboratory classes students should get to know biochemical techniques used in the analysis of the most important group of compounds present in living organisms and selected biochemical processes.
