Eduroam
Eduroam (TERENA trademark) – education roaming – is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply logging to their eduroam account, which uses the same authenticating method as in their own institution.
Eduroam authentication data in the University of Opole buildings:
- SSID: eduroam
- Authentication: WPA (WPA Enterprise) or WPA2 (WPA2 Enterprise)
- Encryption: TKIP or AES
In Poland Eduroam is developed by PIONIER network and controlled by Copernicus University IT Centre.
