Buddy Mentor Program

The Buddy Mentor Program is a vibrant student organization dedicated to helping Erasmus+ and other exchange students settle down and integrate with life here in Poland. Our mission is to make your stay in Opole an enriching and enjoyable experience by fostering intercultural connections, supporting your personal growth, and ensuring you feel at home.

  • Personal Growth: Our mentors benefit from the experience, gaining valuable skills and personal development within not only broadening horizons by getting to know new cultures, but also by organizing range of events.
  • Fun: We believe in making the process enjoyable with a range of engaging activities and events.

 

What We Do

 

Over each year, we organize more than 20 events across Opole and other cities in Poland, for our exchange students, including:

 

Cultural Nights: Turkish, Polish, Ukrainian, Spanish Culture Nights and more, to celebrate and learn about different cultures.

Educational Trips: A profound visit to Auschwitz museum to understand history and foster dialogue, Moszna Castle or St Anna’s Mountain to understand history of a region

Leisure Activities: Outings to the zoo, Odra river tours, and trips to Arboretum Wojslawice, where students can enjoy nature and build friendships.

Museum Visits: Engaging tours to the Modern Art Museum, Museum UO, and the Museum of Opolian Silesia for artistic exploration and intellectual growth.
