Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is one of the eight new  IITs established by the Government of India in 2008. In a short span of 12 years, the institute has become a top ranker and currently has 243 full-time faculty, 3,397 students (20% women), and nearly 200 state-of-the-art laboratories, and five research and entrepreneurship centers.
The institute has a strong research focus with more than Rs 575 crore of sanctioned research funding with PhD scholars accounting for about 30% of total student strength. IITH has to its credit more than 6000 research publications, 195 patent disclosures, 1440 sponsored/consultancy projects, and about 50 startups.

As a part of strengthening the international engagement, IIT Hyderabad is proud to announce the call for the second round (for admission for the January-May 2022 academic semester) of the *F*ellowship for *I*nternational *R*esearch *S*cholars in *T*echnology (*FIRST*@IITH) scheme (www.iith.ac.in/iar/FIRST-FELLOWSHIP) for supporting bright and motivated international research scholars for pursuing PhD at IIT Hyderabad with full financial support.

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) jest jednym z ośmiu nowych instytutów technologii ustanowionych przez rząd Indii w 2008 roku. W ciągu zaledwie 12 lat, instytut stał się liderem rankingu i obecnie ma 243 nauczycieli akademickich, 3,397 studentów (20% kobiet) i prawie 200 najnowocześniejszych laboratoriów oraz pięć centrów badań i przedsiębiorczości.
Instytut kładzie silny nacisk na badania, korzystając z puli ponad RS 5 750 000 000 przyznanych dofinansowań dla doktorantów stanowiących około 30% wszystkich studentów. IITH ma na swoim koncie ponad 6000 publikacji badawczych, 195 ujawnień patentowych, 1440 sponsorowanych projektów doradczych i około 50 startupów.
