It is a 6 week study abroad program at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt Oder, Germany. The program is tailored to students studying in the fields of International Relations, Global Studies, and European Studies. We designed it especially for future academics who have not yet gotten the chance to travel abroad or are hesitant to spend a whole semester abroad. Our team offers all participants a very caring service and supports them before, during, and after their stay at Viadrina. We want our participants to successfully master their courses and to have an unforgettable study abroad experience! The participation fee of around 2000€ (=2100 USD) includes accommodation in single rooms, two courses (each 3 units / 6 ECTS), lunches, and social and cultural activities in Germany and Poland.
There are a number of reasons for your students to participate:
The European University Viadrina is well known for its internationality and is among the top-ranked German universities. Its small and very international student body, a reasonable student-teacher ratio, and an excellent student support system ensure a very friendly atmosphere and excellent study conditions. The Viadrina is located on the German-Polish border and right on the doorstep of Berlin, which expands the possibilities for academic, cultural, and social student life.
Viadrina Summer Program was founded in 2012 together with the International Relations & Global Studies Program of UT Austin and is open for all students.
