The Year of the dog
Have you ever wondered why every Chinese New Year has an animal zodiac accompanying it?
On February 22 at 4 pm in the University Museum (Collegium Maius, ground floor, room 18) Yi-Ting Liao, Chinese language lecturer at our university, will tell us, among others things, how the Chinese celebrate the New Year, how to brew green tea in a traditional way, and why this year’s zodiac animal is dog.
During the event, you will taste the Chinese teas. The meeting will be accompanied by the exhibition of Chinese calligraphic, religious and culinary artifacts.
The exhibition will be open till May, 31, 2018.
