American English with Natasha

Dear students,

This year we are lucky to have a Fulbright teaching assitant, Natasha from Arizona. It’s obvious that we cannot but take full advantage of her stay with us and use the opportunity to enhance our English proficiency.

Thus, we invite you to the “American English” conversations with Natasha. We will meet every second Friday at 11 am starting from October, 18, at the Office for International Study Programmes (Niechcic dormitory, Katowicka 87B, room1), which is the perfect place for face-to-face encounters.

We will be able to host 8 people only, that is why there several conditions you have to meet:

  • you have to be a first year student of one of BA or MA English study programmes of UO;
  • you have to go though the registration process here;
  • we require a small cover letter (you will find a place for that in the application form);
  • application deadline is 11 am, Thursday, October 19, 2017.

 

We are open to any topics for discussion, your initiative and engagement would be also appreciated.

We will send the invitations to those with the best cover letters on Thursday evening.
