Contest for the Interstudent

We are pleased to share with you the information from Fundacja Edukacyjna Perspektywy (Educational Foundation Perspectives) which is looking for the best foreign student in Poland:

Until 20.01.2021. you can send the names of candidates for the INTERSTUDENT which is contest for the best foreign student in Poland. This is the 11th edition of the competition in which we award the best foreign students who study at Polish universities. As every year we are looking for ambitious people, good students, but above all for active, people, who are joining together different cultures. Thanks to cooperation between Universities, every year we are able to find many great candidates. The condition to participate in the contest is activity in the local student community – cultural, social, ecological, sports and good academic results or participation in interesting research projects.

Candidates can be nominated by their professors, tutors, university authorities, offices for foreign cooperation, student councils as well as their colleagues.

We know from experience of previous editions that winners are excellent “ambassadors” of universities where they study and also of our country. Sharing the contest and winners profiles by the media gives universities an excellent opportunity to present their achievements in the internationalization process.

The INTERSTUDENT contest is organized under the Honorary Patronage of prof. dr. hab. Eng. Arkadiusz Mężyk, chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland.

The partners of the contest are: Konferencja Rektorów Akademickich Szkół Polskich (the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland), Parlament Studentów RP (the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland) and Krajowa Reprezentacja Doktorantów (the National Representation of Doctoral Students).

The official announcement of the results of the Interstudent 2021 contest will take place in February, during the conference “Foreign students in Poland 2021”, hosted by the Wroclaw University of Environment and Life Sciences. For obvious reasons, we do not know yet the form of the awards gala (safety will be our priority), but we will make sure that the winners of the competition in this pandemic year are properly honored!
