Jam Session
On November, 9, Artistic Manor in Opole hosted 18th Jam Session organised by the Opole Blues Foundation. Every person who was willing, could perform on the stage, regardless of the instrument they play. Among the artists was one of our Erasmus Exchange Students, Miray Eslek, who played clarinet. Apart from her the floor was also given to other musicians, playing saxophone, trumpet, percussion, bass, and guitar.
Songs from different genres were played: from classics like “Hit the road Jack”, and “I shot the sheriff” to “Testosteron” by Kayah. All pieces were played in the style of blues, and sometimes parts of different songs were woven into them.
It was the last jam session this year. If you would like to test yourself on stage, or simply enjoy the music, new concerts begin at the beginning of the next year.
