Every foreigner who starts studies in Poland is obliged to acquire the health insurance.
How to get it?
If you can confirm your Polish origin or have Karta Polaka, you can have the voluntary insurance from the National Health Fund. Contributions will be paid through the UO.

You can voluntarily join health insurance (this requires signing a contract with the National Health Fund – NFZ – and paying the contribiution every month).

If you are not entitled to obtain free medical care, you can insure yourself with a private insurance company. University of Opole cooperates with the PZU Wojażer.
