UO in a Cultural Melting Pot – Multiculturalism in Academia

We would like to invite all to the ”Foreigners in Opole and the academic environment” scientific debate conducted by mgr Marcin Deutschmann, which will take place on November 7th at 10:15 at the Students’ Cultural Center (95 Katowicka St).
In this debate, representatives of University’s staff and students, including the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment and a volunteer from the Buddy Mentors student organization, will address issues of intercultural communication, anti-discrimination actions and building tolerance in the academic environment.
Zapraszamy na debatę naukową „Obcokrajowcy w Opolu i środowisku akademickim UO” prowadzoną przez mgr Marcina Deutschmanna, która odbędzie się 7 listopada o godz. 10:15 w Studenckim Centrum Kultury (ul. Katowicka 95). W debacie udział wezmą przedstawiciele pracowników i studentów UO m.in. Pełnomocniczka Rektora UO ds. równego traktowania oraz studentka działająca w ramach organizacji studenckiej Buddy Mentors. W jej ramach poruszane będą zagadnienia dotyczące komunikacji międzykulturowej, przeciwdziałaniu dyskryminacji i budowaniu tolerancji w środowisku akademickim.
