On Monday, May 28 we took our students to the nearby Jeseniky mountains in the Czech Republic to create a great opportunity for different nationalities to mix and encounter each other. We departed from the Cervenohorske pass and hiked to Svycarna mountain hotel to taste some of the Czech cuisine. Ranging from Asia’s southern Cambodians, through Iranians or Azerbaijani, Turks and Slovaks or Polish, Egyptians or Ukrainians, we brought a typical University of Opole mixture of cultures to humbling, majestic mountains nearby our souther border. Have a look at some pics from the trip to get the sense of the vibes we have here in the middle of Europe.
