IMPROVING ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION

The course focuses on practical application of English pronunciation. Students are familiarised with the pronunciation aspects which are particularly difficult for Polish learners of English. These are segmentals (vowels and consonants) and suprasegmentals (e.g. word stress, assimilation, etc.). The emphasis is put on practising intelligible pronunciation through reading texts and giving oral presentations.
