Gender mainstreaming: tools for analysis and change

The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of chosen gender-related issues (stereotypes of femininity and masculinity, mechanisms of gender socialization, heteronormativity, gender-based discrimination discrimination). Moreover it is designed to teach students how to apply gender perspective in the analysis of different areas of social life (education, cultural institutions, NGOs, etc.). Finally, the course will develop students’ competences related to transforming the organization into gender sensitive environment.
