Free movement of persons in the EU

The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of the certain areas of the EU substantive law, together with an understanding of its impact on the national legal orders of the Member States. Students will gain knowledge about the freedom of movement in the EU, together with the free movement of workers, freedom of establishment and free movement of services. They will also obtain some interesting information about the basic principles and conditions of family reunification in the EU with the family members-citizens of the EU and family members-citizens of third states. Attention will also be devoted to the issues of the freedom of movement of third country nationals within the territory of the EU.
