ECONOMETRICS

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic econometric concepts and methods applicable in economic sciences. The objective of the subject is to equip students with the tools enabling econometric empirical verification of the relationship between economic phenomena, testing hypotheses formulated in the economic theory, prediction and forecasting of economic variables.
