AUSTRALIAN LITERATURE: WRITING ON THE FRINGES
The aim of the course is to discuss the history of Australian literature since its beginning till the present. The course introduces the problems with defining Australian literature and classifying literary works within national literature. Students will be familiarised with socio-political factors influencing the development of Australian literature, and acquainted with the greatest Australian writers and their works.
