In September the University of Opole organises a (Polish) Language Summer School for incoming foreign students . It is a 3-week intensive Polish language course, which also introduces the students  to the Polish culture and the history of the Opole region. During the course participants go on numerous trips, e.g. to Brzeg and Oświecim (Auschwitz), and take part in various sports and didactic activities.

The classes are carried out on different levels of Polish with the use of the latest methods of teaching and modern teaching equipment.  They are conducted by highly qualified specialists from the Institute of Polish and Culture Studies of the University of Opole.

The Summer School is a great opportunity to meet other students and members of the University staff. It also helps participants find their way around the campus, university, city, region and Poland.

The fee is 290 euros – board and accommodation included.

Each participant of the LSS obtains a certificate which is recognised by the Admissions Committees.
